Hi, my name is Melanie Blackburn and I live in beautiful Ottawa, Canada with my husband of 3 years Daniel and our beautiful daughter Danika, along with our dog Willow. I have been scrapbooking for over 2 years and my main source of inspiration is my family. I love everything about this hobby, from taking the perfect picture, to finding the perfect paper and preserving memories for the generations to come. When I started scrapbooking I never expected to meet so many people and have so many wonderful opportunities. Scrapbooking is a method of relaxation for me, after a hectic day at work, I look forward to having some time to myself to create. I like to capture a feeling and let my work speak for itself. I am more of a “moment” scrapper as opposed to an “event” scrapper. My scrapbooking style varies between very busy, shabby chic, distressed to a more simple linear look. I am very passionate about this hobby and I am thrilled of joining the Daisy Bucket Design Team!!!
