Heidi Smith

Long time Daisy Bucket fans already know me. For those that are just beginning to fall in love with Daisy Bucket Designs... My name is Heidi Smith. I have been designing for the Bucket since December 2004. This industry has taken me on quite a journey; designing for message boards, kit clubs, manufacturers, idea book publishers and alot of freelance work. I have been an artist and crafter all my life. I can't recall a time when my Mom wasn't yelling at me to clean up the little pieces of paper I had chopped up all over her floor. Now I have a craft room for that! lol :)

I have been scrapbooking since 1998, and thing about my scrapbooking you may find a bit outside the norm, would be the lack of kids in my layouts. What you might see though...a lot of dogs. Everyone has a dog in my family and we all treat them like the family members they are! Our cocker spaniel Auggie is the "grandpuppy" of the family and has many scrapbooks of his own.

I live in Washington State where I am a homemaker, and a Navy wife to my husband of 11 years, Rob. Making my house a "home" is something I take great pride in. I enjoy learning old crafts like crochet, canning and even made my first quilt last week. I love hunting for new shabby chic finds, a style which tends to come though in my papercrafting as well.
